Meet Mr. Cater

Dan Cater is a proud Simmons Middle School, Hoover High School, and Auburn University alumnus. He is happily married to Laura Cater, and together they have three children: Thatch, Finn, and Cohen.

After four years as choral director at Drake Middle School in Auburn, Mr. Cater came home to lead the choirs at Simmons Middle School. He also serves as youth choir director at Saint Mark United Methodist Church.

This is his 16th year as conductor of the Simmons Middle School choirs — and the music only keeps getting better.
